This installation, in bringing back water to where the layers of the urban world have imposed themselves, puts centre stage an essential feature of the river bank-willows.

Colony members–little fast-growing autonomous creatures–will develop throughout the course of the event. Every tree specimen is creating a microhabitat, providing a potential means of sustaining life: a refuge for diversity!
